My Story

I commenced my artistic journey by utilizing graphite, initially during my high school years and subsequently throughout the extended period of lockdown. I discovered a profound enjoyment in capturing ephemeral moments with my children and pets, observing their rapid growth and transformation. As my confidence in my artistic abilities increased, I sought a method to integrate color into the memories I was documenting. After experimenting with various mediums, I predominantly settled on pastels. While I continue to explore watercolor, acrylics, colored pencils, and oil paints, I invariably return to the use of pastels. Engaging in portraiture of my own family has instilled in me a passion for depicting people and animals. I have dedicated myself to refining my skills as a portrait artist, often selecting challenging references that stimulate my artistic growth and enhance my technique.
